Why split Suzhou and Hangzhou into two separate days instead of cramming them together?

Competitors do Suzhou in the morning and Hangzhou in the afternoon — two cities in one day, arriving at West Lake with only 30 minutes to spare. We give Suzhou a full Day 2 and Hangzhou a full Day 4, with Wuzhen Day 3 as the buffer in between. No rush, no fatigue, every city gets the immersion it deserves.

Is Wuzhen worth staying overnight?

Absolutely. Wuzhen's beauty is in its dusk and dawn — the tour groups leave by 4 PM, and you're still there. Lanterns glow, the crowds thin, and the flagstone paths echo with only your footsteps and the splash of oars. Next morning, open your window to a misty water lane — without the overnight stay, you've only seen half of Wuzhen.

Why put Disney on the last day instead of the first?

A full day at Disney clocks 20,000+ steps — if you do it on Day 1, your legs are shot for the next six days. Placed on Day 6, the preceding days are gentle, your energy is banked, and after Disney you go straight home to recover. Plus, luggage stays in the vehicle — no dragging suitcases into the park.

Why Wuzhen instead of Zhouzhuang?

Zhouzhuang is smaller — half a day and you're done — and more commercially aggressive. Wuzhen Xizha is centrally managed: no touting, no arbitrary charges, spotless flagstone paths. Inside-scenic-area accommodation is well-run, with standardized guesthouses you can count on. Zhouzhuang's guesthouses are hit-or-miss — too risky with elderly and children.
