Is Fenghuang Ancient Town worth visiting?
Absolutely. Fenghuang Ancient Town's night view is one of the highlights of any Hunan route — stilt houses along the Tuo River reflecting lights, Hong Bridge, Wanming Pagoda, Shawan stilt house cluster. Best Apr–Oct. In winter, Tianmen Cave may close due to ice and the Glass Skywalk may also close due to freezing. Jul–Aug is peak season with the most crowds.
